“Sometimes all you want is a little bit of stability, but as a leader, that’s rarely the case.” - Hani Anis

Hey you wild woman!

Hani Anis is the Founder and Creative Head of Anis Collections, along with being the Founder of Kahani Digital (Kahani means to tell a story.) Pursuing both her entrepreneurial instincts, along with her passion, she founded Anis Collections, a luxury South Asian bridal boutique that helps brides, grooms, bridesmaids and groomsmen find their dream outfit for their big day. Post-grad she went the traditional route working in Investment Banking before her path took a few sharp turns working with an influencer and starting her own freelance digital marketing business. Once she realized her passion for working with small businesses and came to terms that there really aren’t any digital marketing agencies out there catered specifically to the South Asian demographic, she quit her job and launched Kahani Digital.

In this episode you will learn about how:

  • If you think you’re doing it wrong, keep going

  • If you keep going, you could pull this (business) into a different opportunity

  • Being too nice influenced her business decisions, and it’s not necessarily right

  • Hani manages two businesses simultaneously

  • She got the sales before launching a website/branding

  • It’s important to delegate better

  • The three myth of entrepreneurship

  • To get advice from someone who is successfully doing what you’re doing

  • The information on the internet only takes you so far.

What it means to be a wild woman:

Just going with your gut and making decisions that make you feel passionate about what you're doing. - Hani Anis
