Community Manager, integrator and
content specialist

  • Hours: Approximately 5-10 hours/week

  • Contract position: VA/consultant role

  • Work type: Remote work

  • Hourly fee (CAD): Dependant on experience and paid in Canadian

  • Must be an excellent writer

  • Must know how to grow an email list + social media audience

The Opportunity

  • Lead the development of social media strategies and campaigns for the brand,

  • Work with Renée on the creation and implementation of a thorough social media strategy for Instagram, Facebook (groups), LinkedIn and podcast promotion,

  • Manage all duties as it relates to publishing and promoting the Into The Wild podcast,

  • Manage day-to-day activity of all relevant social media channels,

  • Provide ideas on how to use social media in new and engaging ways - which means more than delivering “likes” and “follows”,

  • Layout and design the art and copy for monthly social media content,

  • Provide ongoing writing and editing support for blog posts, social media content, podcast promotion and other promotional materials,

  • Manage creative campaigns for the brand that will attract and convert leads into sales (PR clients, planner sales and other opportunities.),

  • Track, maintain, and present performance/analytics to Renée on a weekly basis. Based on those weekly metrics, provide feedback on how to increase engagement and performance,

  • Moderate live events/webinars to ensure a smooth process,

  • Other Virtual Assistant type work as needed.

We are seeking someone who has:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in Social Media working in either an agency or as a consultant/VA,

  • Demonstrated experience developing, managing and revising digital marketing campaigns on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, and emerging social media platforms, 

  • Related experience with ActiveCampaign, Squarespace, Leadpages and Canva (or can competently and quickly learn those platforms),

  • Moderate design ability (Canva),

  • Demonstrates experience with nurturing online communities,

  • A history of developing editorial calendars,

  • Knowledge and experience with community management tools,

  • Knowledge of social media analytics and listening platforms,

  • Ability to stay current, not just on technology, but the world. The sophistication and diversity of the content you create is directly tied to how much you read,

  • A love for unpredictable days and won't blink at juggling all of Renée’s requests,

  • Comfortable with the expectations and pressure that come with the responsibilities of managing social media accounts,

  • A great ability to work on their own,

  • The ability to enjoy being part of a team and sincerely value what makes working with Renee fun and an added value to current and future female entrepreneurs.
